About us

KC Welding & Rentals – Farm Supply

KC Welding first opened its doors to serve the people of the Imperial Valley in 1954. Casey Mostrong, our founder and visionary was head of the Emergency Aviation Repair Department in San Diego during World War II; after the war, Casey brought his mechanical skills and ingenuity to El Centro and opened up shop on 4th Street, laying the foundation for what is now KC Welding and Rentals.

We strive to serve our customers, in the Casey Spirit consistently and believe we are asset to our community here in the Imperial Valley, citizens as well as local industries including farming, geothermal, construction and solar technologies. The services we offer here at KC include equipment rentals for both large scale commercial applications and small scale homeowner needs, an extensive welding and fabrication shop, industrial & agricultural parts retail store. As a provider for industrial applications we also carry commercial steel at both of our locations in Brawley & El Centro.

Welding and Fabrication are at the heart of KC Welding and Rentals; since the beginning, we have been designing and producing Agricultural equipment. Additionally, we have always and continue to take custom fabrication, repair and welding jobs from both industrial and individual customers. Our fab-shop capabilities include hydraulic repair, held-arc and semi automatic welding, punching, shearing, drilling, pressing, rolling, CNC plasma cutting, milling, custom fencing, utv repair, small engine repair, landscaping equipment repair, lift-gait repair and more custom machining or fabrication.
